TCN-CLC-8N(V15.6)-XH Smart Flower Vending Machine
A self-service floral counter that keeps selling after the flower shop locks up
Overview
Cut flowers are one of the highest-margin products in convenience retail and one of the least automated. A traditional florist trades perhaps ten hours a day, needs a trained person behind the counter, and writes off whatever has not sold by Sunday evening. Demand does not follow those hours: hospital visitors arrive after visiting time, air travellers shop at six in the morning, office staff decide on a gift during a lunch break.
The TCN-CLC-8N(V15.6)-XH was developed for operators who want that demand. It places eight independently chilled, independently locked display compartments behind heated anti-fog glass, holds bouquets, hat boxes and potted arrangements at an adjustable 4–25 °C, and completes the whole purchase on a 10.1-inch or 15.6-inch capacitive touchscreen — no counter staff, no shop lease, no closing time.

How a purchase happens
- Browse. Real stock is displayed behind the illuminated glass front, which stays clear instead of fogging over in a chilled cabinet.
- Select. The touchscreen presents each compartment with its bouquet, price and availability; product imagery can be pushed to the screen remotely.
- Pay. Card through Nayax or PAX terminals, banknotes, coins, or QR code — the mix is specified for your market before shipment.
- Receive. The electromagnetic lock releases only the selected door, so the remaining stock is never exposed to ambient air or to handling.
Engineering that protects the product — and the margin
- Stable cold chain. Compressor cooling holds the cabinet between 4 °C and 25 °C, with insulated compartment walls that limit temperature loss each time a door opens.
- Clear display, cold interior. The heated anti-fog glass keeps bouquets visible without warming the cabinet — presentation and preservation no longer compete with each other.
- Compartments sized for real floristry. At 450 × 350 × 550 mm each, the eight lockers take wrapped bouquets, rigid gift boxes and small potted plants without crushing; the ninth module houses the control system.
- Payment coverage for any market. Card, cash and QR acceptance on MDB/DEX architecture, with IC card, member card and passcode access for staff or subscription collection.
- Compliance built in. CE, ISO 9001, RoHS, FCC and SGS certification, and dual-voltage operation (AC 110–120 V / 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz) for deployment in any region.
- Low running cost. Roughly 800 W while cooling and about 40 W on standby, so a single site rarely requires electrical work beyond a standard circuit.
Where it earns its keep
Venue
Why it works
Shopping malls
Captures impulse and gift purchases outside mall trading hours and on public holidays
Airports, rail and metro stations
Serves early departures and late arrivals, when no flower shop is open
Hospitals and clinics
Reliable demand from visitors; gifting is emotional and time-driven
Hotels and lobbies
Turns dead lobby space into a revenue point with no staffing cost
Office campuses and business parks
Weekday gifting, secretary purchases and seasonal peaks (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day)
Supermarkets and hypermarkets
Adds a floral category without a dedicated floral department
Scenic areas, campuses, event venues
High footfall, seasonal crowds, no permanent retail infrastructure required
Running ten machines as easily as one
Every unit reports to the TCN Cloud IoT platform. Operators see compartment-level stock, sales by SKU and by hour, and cabinet temperature history from any browser or phone; fault self-detection raises an alert before a compressor issue becomes a loss of stock. Restocking becomes a scheduled decision based on data rather than a daily round trip, and one technician can cover a route that would otherwise need a full-time attendant.
For groups already running a retail or vending estate, an SDK is available so floral sales, inventory and loyalty can be pulled into the existing management system.
